Last May, I was invited by prof. Pascal Brioist to feature in an episode of his web documentary project about Leonardo da Vinci. Two splendid days in Milano with him and his very capable filming team. This episode will be about the ties of Leonardo in Milano and his connection to arms and armour experts of the time. I've talked about Pietro Monte, the famous unknown fencing master and condotierre who "taught Leonardo to play darts" according to S. Anglo. Actually, it's not about throwing darts, but war javelin and their mechanical properties once thrown in the air, according to the note in the Codex Atlanticus.
I won't miss to post the link here, once the project come to fruition. I've been told about a possible release at the end of the year. Stay tuned.
