The second annual conference organised by Paul Bowman was splendid! Mind-blowing papers from a very interdisciplinary and international crowd. I had other scholars assisting me as improvised squires, we had fun, although I usually dislike to give academic talks in armour (people tend to mistake me with a reenactor). It was very well received though, and I think I made my points go though.
